Road to nowhere

It’s not specifically the best photo ever, but I like such moments when you discover something which sits in your mind for months.
Somewhere in the air between Basel and Munich I looked outside the window and saw that lake. And then I couldn’t believe that the road there ends right in the middle. I couldn’t just understand why it melts there. I wasn’t able to solve that mystery until later, when I carefully looked at that photo. Of course it’s not the road but a river. And you can see there how all sand and everything carried by the river melts in the open lake water. But then, in the air, my mind was sticked to the idea of the road. And it really take me a while to see something different out there. Since then I flew there twice. But I couldn’t find that right moment to observe “my road” again.
