Lucerne by night

Coming back from Engelberg we had only 30 minutes between trains. Fortunately, the most important Lucerne’s monument is right there, 2 minutes walk from a train station. The Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrücke) is 204m long, wooden, originally built in 1333, which gives the oldest covered bridge in Europe. Part of it has been replaced after a fire in 1993 (caused by a cigarette!). The tower with its fortification purposes was also built in 13th century.

    • Thanks Chris for nice words. I’m not fully satisfied with them, but this is result of connecting night, digital camera and the bridge instead of tripod ;) Not bad then.
